stop the tower!

Brent Council is planning tower blocks of 20 storeys or more in Queen’s Park. Stop The Tower is a group of local residents who want a low-rise future for Queen’s Park and South Kilburn.

We include people who live to the north and the south of the railway line, and to both the east and west of Salusbury Road. Some of us are home-owners, some are tenants. All of us think that imposing a towerblock on Queen’s Park/South Kilburn is a bad idea.

Stop The Tower supports social housing, welcomes the redevelopment of South Kilburn and is not averse to tall buildings per se in the right context.

Stop The Tower has no political affiliations and receives no outside funding.
